# Mapp Intelligence: New Updates and Enhancements

**11 July 2024** We have released a series of updates and enhancements for Mapp Intelligence.

## What’s new

### **Optimized analysis configuration with “Swap metric”**

This new option allows you to change the metric within an existing analysis while keeping all the existing filters. Simply click on the three-dot menu and click **Swap metric**. You can select any metric compatible with the filters. See how this new feature can be effectively used in the video below.

### **Improved Report Editing**

Now, when you and another user edit a report simultaneously, there will be a warning before any data is overwritten. If necessary, you may still overwrite their version. However, you may now easily save your changes as a new copy of the report.

### **Excel Export Text Alignment**

To improve your experience using exported data in pivot tables, the information will be aligned to the top instead of the bottom.

### **Permission to Export to Server**

Previously, all users had permission to upload to SFTP. Now, as an administrator, you can select which of your users needs this permission. You can find this permission by going to *User Management > Roles*, then selecting the role for which you wish to edit the permission.

This new permission will be enabled for existing roles with the release. Roles created after the release will have it disabled by default.
