28 September 2026 Intelligence React Native SDK 2.0.0 adds support for Expo and extends compatibility to React Native 0.85. Your existing tracking code keeps working without changes.
Summary of changes
Expo support: A config plugin sets up the SDK automatically during Expo Prebuild, so you no longer need to maintain the native setup yourself. Validated with Expo SDK 56. Expo Go is not supported, so use a development build. See Expo Integration Guide.
React Native compatibility: Supported React Native versions now range from 0.84 up to, but not including, 0.86.
Android build setup: The SDK now uses the Android, Kotlin, and React Native build tooling of your app instead of its own pinned versions. This avoids dependency conflicts in both React Native CLI and Expo projects.
No API changes: There are no breaking JavaScript or TypeScript API changes. Apps that already build with 1.1.3 do not need a Kotlin migration.

Availability
Available since 28 September 2026 on npm and GitHub. After updating, reinstall your iOS pods and rebuild both native apps, because a Metro reload does not apply native changes. See Migrating from 1.1.3 to 2.0.0.
