# Mapp Intelligence: Server-side Tracking

**06 Apr 2020** Mapp Intelligence has gone server-side: We are now offering a PHP tracking library to track website users via your own server. Server-side tracking is becoming increasingly important to track mission-critical information on webpages. The new Mapp Intelligence PHP library allows to configure tracking right on the server instead of taking a detour via the browser.

- Being independent of browser-side cookies
- Not being affected by tracking blockers
- Increased control over collected data
- Precise data collection of page data

## How does it work?

This feature is part of the 2020 Spring Update and available to all customers.
