# Microsites Configuration (window)

## Overview

In the **Configuration** window, you set the URL of the microsite and activate it. For subscribe and unsubscribe microsites, you also select the subscription group. This is the last step when you create a microsite.

## Navigation Path

1. Go to *Content > Microsites*.
2. Click **Create Microsite**, or click **Edit** in the context menu of an existing microsite.
3. In the **Info** window and in the **Content** window, click **Next Step**.

## Settings

| Setting | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Read-only. The name that you entered in the **Info** window. |
| **Created by** | Read-only. The user who created the microsite. |
| **Type** | Read-only. The type of the microsite. You cannot change the type after the microsite is created. |
| **Group** | Only for subscribe and unsubscribe microsites. The subscription group that contacts subscribe to or unsubscribe from. Each subscription group can have only one unsubscribe microsite. |
| **Path** | Required. The unique part of the microsite URL. The full URL is shown below the field. Use this URL in your messages, for example as a link. |
| **Scheduled Publishing** | Publishes the microsite on a later date. Turn on the option and set the date. |

> Unsubscribe microsites need the link parameters `uid` and `gid` in the settings of the subscription group. See [Set Up Link Parameters for Unsubscribe Microsites](/v1/docs/create-a-microsite#set-up-link-parameters-for-unsubscribe-microsites).

## Actions

| Action | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Close** | Closes the window and returns to the microsites overview. |
| **Save as Draft** | Saves the microsite as a draft without activating it. |
| **Activate** | Activates the microsite. If **Scheduled Publishing** is turned on, the microsite is published on the set date. |
