You can do this if you are a member of the approvers list that is assigned to the group. For how moderation works, see [Message Moderation](/v1/docs/message-moderation). --- ## Approve or Reject in the Outbox 1. Go to *Messages > Outbox*. 2. Select the **Email** or **SMS** tab. 3. Find the message with the status **Moderated**. To show only these messages, select **Moderated** from the **Status** list. 4. Click **⋮** next to the message and select **Approve** or **Reject**. 5. In the window that opens, review the message. For a description of the window, see [Message Moderation: Approve or Reject](/v1/docs/moderate-message-window). 6. Optional: If you reject the message, enter a **Comment**. The author receives it with the rejection notice. 7. Click **Submit**. > [!NOTE] > Note > > If the group requires the four-eyes principle, you cannot approve or reject messages that you created yourself. --- ## Approve or Reject from the Email When a message needs approval, every member of the approvers list receives an email. The message is attached, so you can review it without logging in to Mapp Engage. You can approve or reject the message directly from this email. Follow the instructions in the email. If you receive the approval request by SMS, log in to Mapp Engage and approve or reject the message in the Outbox. --- ## What Happens Next - **Approved:** The sendout starts at the scheduled time. If no time was scheduled, it starts immediately. - **Rejected:** The sendout does not start. The status changes to **Rejected**, and the author receives a notification with your comment. One decision is enough. The other approvers do not need to act.
