# Message Creation: New Email Message (CMS)

When you create a CMS email message, the system opens the **New Email Message** window.

In this window, you define the internal message name and select the template that determines the structure of the email.

## Name

Defines the internal name of the message.

- Used only inside the system (for example, in statistics)
- Not visible to recipients
- Maximum length: 250 characters
- Avoid using parentheses () if the name is used in link tracking. Parentheses are not URL-encoded and can break links.

## Template Selection

Lists all available email templates.

Select a template to define the layout of the message. If no template is selected, the first template in the current view is used.

Templates can be displayed as cards or as a list. In list view, templates can be filtered and sorted using the column headers.
