# Position (Keyword)

Shows the average ranking position, on which a keyword is placed in Google Ads.

This metric is imported when using the [Google Ads API](/v1/docs/setting-up-google-ads-api).

If you have questions about the definition, please use the Google Help. The name of the metric there is "Average position".
