# Technical requirements

Before integrating the Mapp Intelligence React Native SDK, make sure your development environment meets the following requirements. The values apply to SDK version 2.0.1.

| React | `^19.2.3` |
| Node.js | 22.13.0 or later |
| Android min / compile / target SDK | 24 / 36 / 36 |
| Kotlin | 2.3.x |
| Java | 21 |
| iOS deployment target | 15.1 |
| Xcode | 16.1 or later |
| CocoaPods | Required for iOS |

## Validated setups

The SDK is tested with the following combinations:

| React Native | 0.84.1 | 0.86.3 |
| React | 19.2.3 | 19.2.3 |
| Kotlin | 2.3.21 | 2.3.20 |
| Gradle | 9.0 | 9.3.1 |

For Expo, only Expo SDK 57 has been validated. Expo Go is not supported. See [Expo Integration Guide](/docs/en/expo-integration-guide-react-native-intelligence).

> Note
> 
> The SDK uses the Android Gradle Plugin, Gradle, and Kotlin versions of your app. Keep the versions that come with your React Native release.

Make sure your project builds for both Android and iOS. This includes working Android Studio and Xcode installations.
