Goal
Reactivate one or more deactivated contacts within a specific group.
Prerequisites
Permission to manage contacts in the relevant group
System-wide reactivation may require additional system-level permissions
If required options are not available, contact your administrator.
Procedure
You can reactivate contacts in two ways:
Single contact
All contacts within the same response category
Reactivate a single contact
Navigate to Audience > Deactivated.
Select the desired group.
Open the response category that contains the contact.
Locate the contact and click Reactivate.
Confirm the group-level reactivation.
Optionally confirm system-wide reactivation.
Reactivate all contacts in a response category
Navigate to Audience > Deactivated.
Select the desired group.
In Deactivation: Summary, locate the relevant response category.
Click Reactivate.
Confirm the group-level reactivation.
Optionally confirm system-wide reactivation.
Remove a Deactivated Contact from a Group
To remove a deactivated contact from the selected group:
Navigate to Audience > Deactivated.
Select the group.
Open the response category containing the contact.
Locate the contact and click Remove.
The contact is removed from the group.
The contact profile remains in the system.
Group-specific data such as attributes and subscription data is deleted.
