  6. Optionally confirm system-wide reactivation.

Advanced: bulk system-wide reactivation

Use this method to reactivate contacts that are deactivated across all groups in Mapp Engage. Build a segment of system-wide deactivated contacts, transfer it to a new group, and then reactivate that group's contacts.

1. Create a segment for system-wide deactivated contacts

  1. Navigate to Audience > Segmentation > Segmentation Builder.

  2. Click Create and enter a name for the segment.

  3. Drag Profile Attribute onto the canvas.

  4. Configure the criterion:

    • Attribute Name: Bounced(S)

    • Operator: Equals

    • Value: Yes

  5. Click Apply.

  6. Save and publish the segment.

2. Transfer the segment to a new group

  1. Open the segment overview.

  2. Select the segment.

  3. Click Transfer.

  4. Choose New Group as the transfer target.

  5. Enter the required group details.

  6. Click Transfer.

3. Reactivate contacts in the new group

  1. Navigate to Audience > Deactivated.

  2. Select the newly created group.

  3. In Deactivation: Summary, locate the relevant response category.

  4. Click Reactivate.

  5. Confirm the group-level reactivation.

  6. When prompted, confirm system-wide reactivation.

  7. Repeat for additional response categories if required.

The selected contacts are reactivated across all groups and channels in the system.

Remove a Deactivated Contact from a Group

To remove a deactivated contact from the selected group:

  1. Navigate to Audience > Deactivated.

  2. Select the group.

  3. Open the response category containing the contact.

  4. Locate the contact and click Remove.

The contact is removed from the group.

The contact profile remains in the system.

Group-specific data such as attributes and subscription data is deleted.
