# Rescheduling a Message Sendout

## Goal

Reschedule a message to send it on a different date or time.

## Background Information

Group-level sendout time frames (set in [Group Sendout Options](/v1/docs/sendout-options-tab)) can delay the sendout if they conflict with the time defined during preparation.

## Procedure

1. Go to *Messages > Outbox > Email* or *Messages > Outbox > SMS*.
2. In the **Status** column, apply the **Scheduled** filter.
3. Open the context menu next to the message you want to change, and click **Reschedule**.
4. In **Message Transfer**, enter the new date and time.
5. (Optional) To send in recipients’ local time, choose the desired time zone from the drop-down list.
6. Click **Reschedule**.
