# Rules Overview

Rules define the conditions under which plugins or tracking actions are executed. This page allows you to review and manage all configured rules. For more information, see [Component Guide and Setup Steps](/v1/docs/integration-and-initial-setup).

## Rule List

The table shows all configured rules and their conditions.

- **Name** – Identifies the rule.
- **Description** – Displays the defined condition, such as URL patterns, parameter values, or events.
- **Last modified** – Indicates when the rule was last updated.

## Rule Conditions

Rules are based on different types of conditions:

- **Parameter-based** – Triggered when specific parameter values are present or match defined criteria.
- **URL-based** – Triggered based on the page URL, including static values or patterns.
- **Event-based** – Triggered by user interactions such as clicks, form submissions, or custom events.

## Actions

Use the available actions to manage rules:

- **Create rule** – Add a new rule.
- **Delete** – Permanently removes the rule.
