# SEM Keywords

**Shows the keywords booked at Google Ads, via which the website was accessed. Furthermore, the match type defined in Google Ads (e.g. broad, phrase, exact) is depicted in brackets.**

Example of a SEM keyword: "trousers (Broad)"

The usage of the [Mapp Intelligence Google Ads API](/v1/docs/setting-up-google-ads-api) is required for using this analysis. With this, the booked keywords can be submitted automatically to Mapp Intelligence via separate parameters (e.g. "wt_kw"). As Mapp Intelligence tracks the SEM keywords with this parameter by itself, additional Mapp Intelligence metrics can be used in this analysis as well.
