# Sending a Message to Multiple Groups

## Goal

Send a message to multiple groups simultaneously by using a SuperGroup.

---

## Background Information

A SuperGroup allows you to send a single message to multiple groups simultaneously. When you send a message to a SuperGroup, the message is delivered to all members of its subgroups.

You can use SuperGroups to send email messages, SMS messages, and mobile push notifications.

The groups that you add to a SuperGroup are called subgroups. The message that is sent to a SuperGroup is called a SuperMessage.

Members of the SuperGroup itself do not receive a message. Only members of the subgroups receive the SuperMessage.

**Example** You have 30 different email newsletter groups and want to send the same holiday newsletter to all of them. Instead of creating 30 separate sendouts, you create one SuperGroup, add all groups as subgroups, and send one SuperMessage.

---

## Prerequisites

Create the groups that you want to add to the SuperGroup.

---

### Sending a SuperMessage

2. From the **Choose Group** drop-down list, select the SuperGroup.
