# Create Credential for Amazon S3 Access

This article shows how to set up a connection with you Amazon S3 account in Mapp Engage.

## Prerequisites

To configure your connection to an Amazon S3 account, you need to have the following items.

1. An active Amazon S3 account and the following information:
  1. User Key.
  2. Secret Key.
  3. Region Name.
  4. Bucket Name.
2. Mapp Engage system permission ID 160 (System Administration: Create and Edit Credential Records).

> Only one credential record can be created per Amazon S3 Bucket.

## Procedure

1. In Engage, go to *Administration > Permissions > Credentials*and click **Create** .
2. Fill in the Name field, and optionally, Description field.
3. From the **Type** drop-down-list select **Amazon S3 Account**.

5. You can now **Save** and test your connection!
