# Source in the Customer Journey

**Shows the traffic sources that were involved in the reach of a website goal.**

If you record multiple website goals, you should filter on one website goal.

Furthermore, this dimension is often used for filtering in [Customer journey](/v1/docs/customer-journey-analyses) analyses.

#### Example

Show all customer journeys, in which the traffic source "newsletter" was used.
