# Import Contacts

## Objective

Run an import every night to apply changes made to contact data within the last 24 hours to existing contact profiles and add new contacts.

## Prerequisites

FTP credentials are set up in Mapp Engage. For more information, see [Credentials](/v1/docs/credentials) and [Create New Record (window)](/v1/docs/create-new-record-window).

## Whiteboard

This Whiteboard adds contact data that you have stored on an FTP server to an existing group in Mapp Engage.

**Show detailed configuration**

2. Add the job **Import Contacts** and configure it.
