Introduction

System whiteboards allow you to automate operational tasks in Mapp Engage. They are based on Scheduled or Recurring whiteboards and are used to run system-level processes, such as importing contacts or generating reports. This helps reduce manual workload and ensures important data operations run consistently.


Common Use Cases

  • Automated data imports: Import contacts or other data on a recurring schedule.

  • Regular reporting: Generate reports or exports at fixed intervals.

  • Maintenance tasks: Automatically delete groups or remove contacts in batches.


Creating a System Whiteboard

When creating a new whiteboard, select Scheduled or Recurring, then activate the Create system whiteboard toggle.

The configuration includes:

  • Whiteboard Name: The name displayed in the system.

  • Description (optional): Additional context about the whiteboard’s purpose.

  • Tag(s): Labels used for organization or filtering.
