# Unsubscribe All Inbound SMS Numbers

## Goal

Automatically unsubscribe contacts from a Mapp Engage group when they send an incoming SMS to the group.

---

## Background Information

With this configuration:

- Every inbound SMS to the group triggers an unsubscribe.
- Messages are not filtered for specific keywords.
- Unsubscribes are recorded in group statistics.
- Mapp Engage sends unsubscribe instructions to the mobile number that sent the SMS.
- The system message `SysMsgUnsubscribeInstructions` includes a code and a link to a webpage where the recipient must enter the code to complete the unsubscribe process.

> [!NOTE]
> **Important:**
>
> Each SMS group supports only one reply handling setting. If you use this unsubscribe method:
>
> - Contacts cannot subscribe directly via SMS to this group.
> - SMS contacts must be imported into Mapp Engage via file upload.Your title goes here
