    Article summary

    Goal

An image is uploaded automatically when editing a paragraph in the Content Store.

    Prerequisite

This procedure can only be used with paragraphs that include an image.

    Background Information

The Content Store stores various media formats (e.g. images, text, HTML, and other components) for use in messages (see Content Store). The content is then available for use in different messages.

When editing a paragraph, media previously saved to the Content Store can be searched and reused. If a graphic is not yet saved in the Content Store, it can be loaded directly from your desktop, linked to the message, and also saved to the Content Store.

    Procedure

    1. In the Main Navigation menu, select Content Management .
⇒ The CMS Message Overview window opens.

    2. Create a new message or edit an existing message.

    3. Edit the paragraphs in which an image is inserted.

    4. Click the Upload File button next to the input field URL where the image path is to be inserted.

    5. Select the file on your computer and upload it to Engage.
⇒ The file name is displayed in the input field URL.

    6. Edit any additional settings as required for the paragraph.

    7. Click the button Save & View.
⇒ The preview (window) for the paragraph opens.
The input field URL is deactivated and the path to the graphic is displayed. This path is also the file name of the graphic in the Content Store.
