# User Profile - Micro Status

**The micro status is used for the evaluation of the short-term reach of goals and shows the cycle between (repeated) first contact and purchase.**

"User Profile - Micro Status" always shows a user's visitor status on his last visit.

A visitor is always assigned to exactly one status (the one with the highest priority). The assignment is done overall visits.

As soon as a purchase is made, the assignment to a new micro status starts with the next visit.

> The use of this dimension over time is normally not useful, as there is no time reference.
