# Web Session End Event

The **Web Session End Event** marks the end of a user’s session on a website, triggered by inactivity or upon closing. In Whiteboard workflows, it finalizes updates, such as user profile adjustments. This event must follow a **Custom Tracking Event** to ensure all session interactions are captured before initiating post-session actions.

## Configuration

No specific configuration is needed. However, the Web Session End Event is recommended custom attribute updates via Pixel. See related topics for more information.
