      Android Version

      The Mapp Android SDK supports all devices running Android 5 (API Level 21) or higher.

      Development Environment

      You can integrate the SDK into your app using any development environment, though we recommend Android Studio for the best development experience.

      Important Notes

      • Compatibility with Android-job Library: Using the Android-job library may cause issues, including failures to send tracking requests. To avoid these problems, it is strongly recommended to update your app to use WorkManager, which is fully supported by the Mapp Android SDK.

      • If updating is not possible:

        • You can align the version of WorkManager in the SDK to match the version of your Android-job library.

        • Alternatively, you can include the Mapp Intelligence Android SDK as a module in your app to avoid compatibility issues.
