Scenario
Prevent message sendout to contacts who mark your message as spam.
Benefits
Block message sendout to contacts who have indicated that they no longer want to hear from you.
Improve deliverability.
Background Information
We recommend adding addresses to a Robinson list when they produce a spam complaint.
A Robinson list is an external blacklist. It is used to block addresses in multiple Mapp Engage systems. During sendout, Mapp Engage checks the addresses in the group against the Robinson list. Any addresses in the group that are on the Robinson list are skipped during sendout. Addresses on the Robinson list do not receive any messages. No data is deleted when an address is added to a Robinson list. Subscription data remains stored in the system.
We recommend that you automatically delete responses of the type invalid and rejected. See Automatically Delete Invalid and Rejected Addresses.
