Purpose
This tab gives you an overview of all blocks in the Content Management (Email) area of your Mapp Engage system.
What can I do in this window?
Create a block.
Edit an existing block.
Copy an existing block.
Delete an existing block.

Actions
Action | Description |
---|---|
Edit | Opens the Compose Block window. The Compose Block window offers the possibility to edit the block code. This button is available when you select a block in the Select Block overview. |
Copy | Creates a copy of the block. You can assign the copy a new name and save or cancel the copy. When you save the copy, Mapp Engage saves the block to the Select Blocks overview. This button is available when you select a framework in the Select Framework overview. |
Delete | Deletes the selected block after an additional confirmation request. This button is available when you select a block in the Select Block overview. |
Create | Opens the Compose Block window. Here you define a block for use in a framework. |
Information
The overview provides a list of available blocks in your Mapp Engage system.
To select a block, click the desired block.

Item | Description |
---|---|
Name | Shows the name of the block in Mapp Engage. |
Tags | Shows the tags that are assigned to the block. |
Author | Shows the name of the system user who created the block. |
Creation Date | Shows the date and time the block was created. |
Last Changed | Shows the date and time the block was last updated. |
Display Options
Symbol | Description |

Filters the records that Mapp Engage displays in the overview by the filter criteria that you enter in the column header. | |
Sorts the order in which the list of records displays. The records are sorted by the value in the selected column. Click the arrows a second time to sort the list in the opposite direction. Click the arrows a third time to stop sorting by this value. By default, records are sorted by name from A to Z and 0–9. | |
Adds or removes columns from the current view. To remove a column from the table, click the symbol and clear the check box that is next to the column name. | |
Navigates to the previous page of records. | |
Navigates to the next page of records. |
