Compose Framework (window)

Navigation Path
In the Main Navigation, click Content > Email.
⇒ The Email window opens to the Email Messages tab.Click Frameworks.
⇒ The Select Framework window opens.Edit an existing framework.
⇒ The Compose Framework window opens.
Purpose
In this window, you define your framework. Several tabs allow you to specify the metadata of your framework and the HTML code of the framework itself.
What can I do in this window?
Define the framework description, framework tags, and other information.
Paste, define, and edit the HTML code.

Action | Description |
---|---|
Save | Saves the changes. The window remains open for further editing. |
Save & Close | Saves the changes and closes the window. The Frameworks tab opens. Here you can locate all your frameworks. |
Cancel | Closes the window without saving your changes. The Frameworks tab opens. |
Information Tab
The Information tab allows you to set up the basic metadata of your framework.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Name | Defines the name of the framework in Mapp Engage. The name is a mandatory input field. The name is limited to 250 characters. |
Description | Defines a description for the framework. The description is an optional input field. The description is limited to 3000 characters. Use this input field to provide additional information about the framework. |
Tags | Defines the tags that are assigned to the framework. |
Character Encoding | Defines the character encoding of the framework. The following options are available:

Edit Tab
Only edit the code of your framework if you are familiar with HTML code for email.
The Edit tab allows you to paste, define, and edit the code of your framework.
You can define the following in your code:
The global HTML code for email templates, including style definitions (CSS) and responsive behavior.
