Overview
The Credentials tab under Permissions is used to securely manage sensitive records required for importing or exporting data with external systems. Each record represents a credential and can be filtered, archived, or edited. The credentials stored here are referenced via system variables and are essential for automating secure data exchanges.

Actions Table
Action | Description |
|---|---|
Create | Opens the Create New Record view where a new credential can be defined. |
Edit | Opens the Edit Record view for modifying an existing credential. The record name cannot be changed. |
Archive | Moves selected records to the archive. Archiving is required before deletion. |
Table Columns
Column | Description |
|---|---|
Name | The label assigned to the credential. Cannot be edited after creation. |
Type | The credential category, such as “User name”, “User password”, “Account”, “CMS Account”, “FTP Server”, or “API Endpoint”. |
Last Updated | Date and time of the most recent update. |
Updated By | User who last modified the record. |
Additional Information
Credential records are used as system variables in automated import/export workflows.
Records must be archived before they can be deleted.
