Here, you can create custom metrics for the chosen account. This means that you can individually filter predefined metrics.
Further information on creating custom formulas can be found in the training chapter on Custom Figures.
Description | |
---|---|
Metric name | The name of the custom metric. You may only use a name that is not the name of another custom metric or formula. |
Standard Metric | The predefined metric that you want to filter. |
Metric filter | Use the filter engine to restrict the values. |
Dimension reference | The dimension reference defines whether the metric should relate to the single elements of the dimension. This option is helpful in case you want to use this metric in custom formulas.
|
Format | Here you can adapt the output of the result in the data table.
|
Visualization | Within the data table different visualizations can be helpful when interpreting data.
|
Threshold Values (only available if you choose Traffic lights or Heatmap) | The colours are chosen automatically based on the actual values of the formula. Example: Automatic vs. manually specified colouring |
Target value (only available if you choose Traffic lights or Heatmap) | Defines whether the target is preferably high or low value.
|
Decimal places | Defines how many decimal places are put out. If "0" is set, values are rounded off. If no decimal places are set, the values are not rounded off. (Limited to 10 decimal places) |
Metric period | This defines whether the metric should relate to the analysis period (or the report period, respectively) or to an alternative period. |
Metric scope | The metric scope defines how a metric relates to the dimension with which it is used in an analysis. The predefined scope (Default Scope) is dependent on the scope in which the dimension and metric are calculated. It can be extended in Mapp Intelligence. Further information on the metric scope can be found in the training chapter on Custom Figures. |
