Before you start, we recommend that you take a look at the general Mapp Connect documentation.

    Documentation

    Description

    Basics

An overview of the Mapp Connect user interface and available actions.

    How-tos

A collection of how-to articles that cover key procedures for Mapp Connect, such as:

    • setting up an integration

    • creating and editing mapping & performing data transformations

    • setting up bulk data imports

    • triggering automated workflows from your external integrations

    Procedure

    A) Adobe Commerce Setup & Integration with Mapp Engage

    Documentation

    Description

Create Integration with Magento (Adobe Commerce) in Mapp Engage

A simple procedure to create a new Magento integration in Mapp Engage. You will find a more detailed, yet not Magento-specific description of this process here: Integration Setup Process and Create an Integration.

    Set up the Magento Plugin

This document explains how to download, install and configure the Magento plugin. This process requires following Magento instructions, and you will find a link to those instructions in this document as well. A detailed description of all available plugin configuration options can be found here Magento Plugin Setup (window).

    B) Configure Mapping & Imports

    Info for Magento 2.4+

The Mapp Connect plugin stores order data for the state "New" by default. All state changes are not stored in the transactional related data table but can trigger a message sendout. To save data for other states, you need to manually perform a code change of the handler in the plugin.

    Documentation

    Description

    Mapping

For Magento, there is default mapping already set up in Mapp Engage. Additional attributes can be added manually.

Set Up Data Imports (Data Feeds)

Magento integration processes real-time data by default. To add historical data (users and transactions), use data feeds or a regular Mapp Engage import.

    C) Message sendout

    Info for Magento 2.4+

Mapp Connect does not support order state updates in the transactional related data table. To use order states in the message sendout, prepare an email message template that uses the state value email parameter. For more information see Mapp Engage Functions.
