Step 1: Info
In this step, you provide the name of the message and an optional description.
You can save the message, close it, or press Next to move to the next step.
Step 2: Template
In this step, you define the template, and write and format the content, including images. You can also see the message preview for a specific contact.
Content
The Content pane contains a built-in HTML editor with standard controls to create the content for your message. To refer to the help for the editor, click ? and select the link to the user guide.
The editor contains a WYSIWYG mode and a source mode. Click Source to switch between the views. If you copy in HTML code, make sure you paste the content into the editor window while you are in source mode.

Selected template | In the second step of the In-App message composition, select the In-App message template. With the exception of the Custom HTML Web template, each Web template has a corresponding Native template.
Once you choose the template, during the message composition, you are able to edit the template itself by adding Image, Content, and Button(s). You can change templates between Web and Native, as well as among each other. This will cause no additional rework to the already created content, as the created content will automatically adjust to the selected template. Custom HTML Web template is the only one excluded from this functionality: if you change the template from Custom HTML Web to any other, the existing content will be discarded. |
Image | Here, you can upload an image to be used in the message. Upload is possible from a file or from the Content Store. |
Content | Put in the headline and the body of the message. Customize text color and background color (only for the body). |
Buttons | In this section, you can customize the background and text colors of buttons, and define what should happen when the contact clicks the button - the button action. Button Actions
