# Microsite Info (window)

## Overview

In the **Info** window, you enter the basic data of a microsite: name, description, and framework. This is the first step when you create a microsite. For an introduction to microsites, see [Microsites](/v1/docs/engage-syste-basics-content-microsites).

## Navigation Path

1. Go to *Content > Microsites*.
2. Click **Create Microsite**, or click **Edit** in the context menu of an existing microsite.

## Settings

| Setting | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | The name of the microsite in Mapp Engage. Maximum 250 characters. |
| **Description** | A description of the microsite. Maximum 1,000 characters. |
| **Framework** | The framework that defines the layout of the microsite. A framework is required. If no framework is available, create one first. See [Compose Framework (CMS)](/v1/docs/compose-framework-window). |

## Actions

| Action | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Close** | Closes the window without saving the changes. |
| **Next Step** | Opens the **Content** window, where you build the page. See [Microsites Content (window)](/v1/docs/microsites-content-window). |
