Approve or Reject Messages

Goal

Review a message that requires approval and decide whether it can be sent.


Prerequisites

  • You are assigned to an approvers list for the relevant group.


Procedure

1. Approve or reject a message via email

  1. Open the notification email that indicates a message requires approval.

  2. Review the message content attached to the notification.

  3. To approve the message, click the approval link in the email or reply to the email.

  4. To reject the message, click the rejection link in the email.

2. Approve or reject a message in the system

  1. Navigate to Messages > Outbox.

  2. Locate the message with status Pending approval.

  3. Open the actions menu next to the message.

  4. Select Approve or Reject.

  5. If you reject the message, enter a comment explaining the reason for rejection.

Result

  • If you approve the message, the sendout starts.

  • If you reject the message, the sendout does not start and the message status changes to Rejected.
