Introduction
The Related Data function in Mapp Engage allows users to store and manage data efficiently in the cloud. Related Data is organized into Related Data Sets, which can store various types of information and be linked to recipient attributes or other data sets. This feature enables dynamic data integration for personalization, segmentation, and automation.

Administration > Attributes > Related Data
User Interface and Options
The Related Data Overview window provides an at-a-glance view of all related data sets in the system. Each data set can contain structured information and be used in different contexts.
Available Actions
Action | Description |
|---|---|
Create a New Related Data Set | Creates a new related data set. See Create Related Data Set. |
Show Structure | Displays the layout and column definitions of an existing data set. See Managing Related Data Sets. |
Edit | Change metadata, descriptions, or linked attributes. |
Change Owner | Change the owner of the related data set in the system. See Change Related Data Set Owner |
Copy | Make a copy of an existing related data set. |
Add new Data | Import data manually via CSV/XML. See Import Data Into Related Data Set. |
Archive | Archive unused data sets to keep the system organized. |
Reactivate | Restore archived data sets when needed. |
Delete | Delete unused data sets. |
