Remove Group Category

Goal​

To remove a group category from an Engage group.

Background Information​

Group categories are assigned to groups in Engage to make organizing different types of groups easier. Only one category can be assigned to a group at any time.

Procedure

1. In the main navigation​ menu, click Audience > Groups.

2. Edit the group to which a category should be assigned by clicking on   in the column  ​Actions.
   ⇒ The  ​General Settings tab opens.

3. From the drop-down list  ​Group Category, select the item  ​--unset--​.

4. Click the ​Save button.
   ⇒ The category is removed from the group.
