    Article summary

    Goal

To select attributes for target group analysis in the Statistics area.

    Background Information

Target group analysis allows you to compare the success of your messages with different segments of your audience. For example, you can compare the success of your messages with different genders, age groups, or income brackets.

Select the attributes for target group analysis before you start the message sendout.

When you change the attribute that is selected for target group analysis, the target group statistics for previous messages are deleted. Always export your statistics before you change the selected attributes.

For more information, see Target Group Analysis (tab).

You can select up to two attributes for target group analysis. The attributes must be enumerated and can contain a maximum of ten values. You cannot select Boolean attributes.

You can always include the standard attributes Title and Date of Birth. These attributes do not count towards the two-attribute limit.

If two attributes are already selected, you must remove the selection from an attribute to select a different attribute. To deselect an attribute, click Remove Target Attribute in the Actions menu of the attribute.

    Procedure

    1. In the main navigation, click Administration > Attributes.

    2. The Attribute Management window opens.

    3. In the Actions column of the desired attribute, click Target Attribute. Mapp Engage highlights the attribute to show that is selected and used for target group analysis.
