This job sends a prepared message to a selection of contacts. The message must first be saved as a prepared message. A prepared message is a saved message that you've assigned to a group. You can edit a prepared message at any time - even if it is use in a selection or automation.
This job sends single messages. All of the single messages share the same message ID. This means that only one sendout appears in the outbox. Single messages are evaluated together in the statistics. Statistics for a single message are found in the Single Message Statistics Overview window. For more information, see Group Messages and Single Messages in Mapp Engage.
The contacts in the selection do not have to belong to the group in which the prepared message is saved.
Contacts in the selection who are not already in the group are added to the group during sendout. No welcome message is sent.
Basic Settings
Name | This input field defines the name of the automation. The name is used to identify the automation in the system. It appears on the Time-based Automations Overview window. The maximum length is 100 characters. |
