    Set Password for a System User

    Article summary

    Goal​

    To set the password for another system user.

    Prerequisites​

    • The system user exists in the system.

    • You have permission to view and edit other system users: ​2000 System Administration: View and edit all system users​.

    • You have the permission to change the password of another system user: ​209 User Administration: Edit password for any user account​.

    • The system user account for which you want to set the password is assigned a system role that is ranked lower than your own.

    Procedure​

    1. In the ​main navigation​, click ​User Management​ > ​System Users​.

    2. Next to the system user, click   > ​Password​.

    3. Enter the new password in the ​New Password​ input field.

    4. Enter the new password a second time in the ​Confirm Password​ input field.

    5. Click the ​Save​ button. The password for the selected system user is set to the new password. Mapp Engage sends a system message to the email address of the system user with the new password.
