# Notification Creation: Info (Web Push)

## Overview

In this interface, you define the basic information for a new web push notification, such as the internal name and description. This is the first step in the message creation process and ensures clarity in organizing and identifying your messages.

## 1 Message Information

| Setting | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Message Name** | Defines the internal name of your message. Required for identifying the message in Mapp Engage. |
| **Description** | An optional internal description to provide context or notes about the message. |

| **Save** | Saves the message. |
| **Close** | Closes the message without saving. |
| **Next** | Goes to **Step 2 - Compose**. |
