Goal
Specify that after a defined period, all links in a message are automatically redirected to a different destination.
Prerequisites
The function for automatically redirecting links is activated for your Mapp Engage system.
Background Information
Automatically timed link redirection is managed on a group-wide basis. All messages in the group, including previously sent messages, are redirected to the new destination at the scheduled time.
If timed link redirection is configured both for an individual message and at the group level, the group-wide setting takes precedence. The redirection defined in the group settings is applied when the scheduled time is reached.

If you create messages using CMS templates, timed link redirection cannot be configured in the CMS template user interface. In this case, contact your customer service representative and specify which links should be redirected automatically and which should continue to link to the original destination.
Procedure
Go to Audience > Group Management > Groups.
Click Edit next to the group for which you want to enable timed link redirection.
Select the Tracking & Links tab.
Expand Redirecting Settings.
In New Link Destination, enter the URL to which the links should be redirected after the defined time period.
In After … days, enter the number of days that should pass before the redirection takes place.
Click Save.
Timed link redirection is enabled for the selected group. All links in all messages belonging to this group are automatically redirected after the specified number of days.
System links, such as unsubscribe or forward links, are never redirected.
