What You Should Do

Migrate to Android SDK v7 before 15 October 2026. Android SDK v7 is not backward compatible with SDK v6 and requires code changes. Review your current implementation and dependencies, and validate your setup in a test environment before upgrading.

If you are unsure which SDK or plugin version you are using, contact your Mapp representative or support team.

Migration to Android SDK v7

A migration guide is available: Migrating from Android SDK v6 to v7

The guide covers required code changes, breaking changes and behavioral differences, and testing and validation recommendations.
