Overview

App Channels provide access to existing mobile app channels and allow you to create, view, and maintain channels used for app-based messaging. This overview helps you understand which channel properties are available and how channels are managed.

Settings

Setting

Description

Name

The name of the channel.

Platform

The mobile platform the channel is created for: “Android” or “iOS”.

Status

The current state of the channel: “Draft”, “Active”, or “Inactive”.

Environment

The environment where the channel is used, for example, “development” or “production”.

Note:

Only one channel with the Environment set to “production” can be created per app.

Last Modified

The most recent date and time when the channel was updated.


Actions

Action

Description

View

Opens the channel details in read-only mode.

Edit

Opens the channel configuration for modification.

Deactivate

Sets the channel status to inactive.

Info

Displays additional channel-related information, including Channel ID, SDK Key, and FCM JSON.
