      06 November 2024 With our latest update (Android version 6.0.25 and iOS version 6.0.8), you can update your mobile application’s channel ID. This migrates contacts without sending new opt-ins for Push Notifications and allows you to make changes to your mobile push channel without disrupting communication.

      However, this doesn’t create a merged profile across the two channels. Users are registered as new on the new channel. The opt-in/opt-out status moves to the new channel, but user profiles stay separate on each channel.

      Archive

      After you have updated to the latest version of the SDK, please be sure to archive your old channel. Otherwise contacts may receive duplicate notifications.
