Mapp Engage: Unified Message Creation Flow

16 April 2025 We’re simplifying email creation so you can always choose between Content Management and HTML Email in the same window.

Key Benefits

We’ve made message creation more streamlined. Now when you go to Create New > Message, you can choose to create it with either:

• Our Content Management System (CMS), which separates the content (a message consisting of text and pictures) from the layout (template)

• or HTML, where you create the entire message manually – including both content and layout – using your own code or an imported template.

For Users without all Channels Enabled

When you go to Create New > Message, you will now always see the message type selection screen – even if only some channels (like HTML Email) are available in your account.

Channels or message types that are not enabled for your account will appear greyed out and cannot be selected. This is expected behavior and simply indicates that the feature has not been activated. If you’d like to enable more message types like SMS, Push, or In-App, feel free to contact us.

Availability

This new interface will be rolled out in phases, starting on April 22nd and finishing on the 24th. You don’t need to make any changes. If you would like to activate additional channels, please get in touch with us!
