    Article summary

05 September 2024 As announced previously, we would like to provide a follow-up regarding the changes to Google Chrome’s user agent string reduction, which may impact your reporting data.

To recap, Google Chrome has implemented a reduction in the visibility of user agents, which may cause Android 10 to appear as “unknown” in your Mapp Intelligence reports. This shift will begin to take effect starting tonight at midnight, potentially leading to a decrease in Android 10 data and an increase in entries under the “unknown” category.

What this means for Mapp Intelligence users

You may notice that Android 10 is now being categorized under “unknown,” which could result in discrepancies in your reporting data if no action is taken.
