Preannouncement - Mapp Engage: Attribute UI Enhancements

28 November 2024: We’re excited to share a sneak peek of upcoming changes to attribute management that will make your experience more intuitive and efficient. These updates are currently in the works and are due to be released in the upcoming weeks. You will hear from us again before they roll out.

What to expect:

• Consistent Look and Feel: Attribute overviews will have a unified design. Functionalities will be in consistent locations, wording and design will be aligned, and we’ve added help links to documentation and hints to guide you.

• Centralized Attribute Location: All attribute types, including group attributes, will be accessible in one centralized location within the front end. No more searching in different sections!

• Target Attribute Filtering: A new filter option will be available for target attributes on the overview page, allowing you to quickly find what you need without scrolling.

• Streamlined Editing: Editing and removing profile attribute enumerations will become part of the overall attribute editing process, eliminating separate settings and making changes much easier.

• Simplified Creation Process: A unified process for creating attributes will make it easier to understand your options and get started.

• Frontend Editing for Member Attributes: You’ll soon be able to create and edit member attributes directly in the front end, replacing the import-only method.

• Improved Access to Attribute Creation: Creating new attributes will be as simple as navigating to Create New > Attribute from the main menu.
