      Navigation Path

      1. In the ​main navigation, click ​Create​ New > Message.

      2. Select ​Push Notification.

      3. Enter a unique name, and the message information and select ​Mobile Push from the ​Type​ drop-down list.

      4. Click ​Next.

      5. Define content and personalizations for your push notification, then click ​Next. Step ​3. Delivery​ opens.

      Purpose​

      Create the settings for your push notification sendout. You can select whether the notification is sent immediately or at a scheduled time in the future.

      What can I do in this step?

      • Select the targeted audience (all opted-in users or a specific segment).

      • Decide whether to send the message immediately or schedule the message to be sent later.

      Choose to send the push notification to all app users who are opted-in.

      ​Specific ​​ (targeted audience)

      Choose to send the push notification to a specific segment of users.

      ​​By Time​ (delivery trigger)​

      Deliver the push notification at a specific time:

      • Immediately.

      • Scheduled: send notification at a specific date and time - choose the delivery date, time, and time zone.

      ​By Location​ (delivery trigger)​

      Deliver the push notification when the user is in a desired location:

      • When the user enters or leaves a specific location.

      • Define one location or a cluster of locations.

      Opens wizard step ​4. ​Summary. The Summary shows you an overview of the sendout settings you selected for the push notification and a preview of the push notification. To send the message, you must first visit this last step.

      Opens wizard step ​2. Content, where you can edit push notification content and see the preview of the push (gets updated as you work on your content).
