Mapp Intelligence supports Page- and Event-tracking. In the configuration of the tag, you can choose which Request type you want to use.
What is the difference?
Page request
You can track pages and page-related information.
Each request generates a page impression.
Event request
You can track everything that happens on a page and other events.
Special subtypes of event requests are
Media request
Form request
Each request generates one click (event request), media view (media request), or form view (form request)

Page request type required
You should always have one tag with the activated Page request type. Every loaded page will be tracked by this tag automatically.
By selecting 'Automatic tracking of HTML links' event requests will be sent if an HTML link is clicked.
By selecting 'Activate form tracking' event requests will be sent if a Form is submitted or canceled.
Use cases for additional Event track request
Additional Tags are needed for these use cases
Add-to-basket button
tracking of non-HTML links (e.g., Ajax)
Single-page applications
Search for new links on a page (lazyload mechanism of the website)
Search for new or updated form fields on a page
Make sure that the request is loaded after the page request.
