Set Up Connection With Your Amazon S3 Account

This article shows how to set up a connection with you Amazon S3 account in Mapp Engage.

Prerequisites

To configure your connection to an Amazon S3 account, you need to have the following items.

1. An active Amazon S3 account and the following information:

   1. User Key.

   2. Secret Key.

   3. Region Name.

   4. Bucket Name.

2. Mapp Engage system permission ID 160 (System Administration: Create and Edit Credential Records).

Only one credential record can be created per Amazon S3 Bucket.

Procedure

1. In Engage, go to  Administration > Permissions > Credentials and click  Create .

2. Fill in the Name field, and optionally, Description field.

3. From the Type drop-down-list select Amazon S3 Account.

4. Provide the required parameters.
   

5. You can now Save and test your connection!
