Generate Exports Manually

Goal​

Manually start the generation of an export from the Engage interface.

Engage generates the export and uploads the file to the server address you entered in the export configuration settings.

You can generate the following exports with this procedure:

• Cloud Export

• Raw Data Export

• Simplified Data Export

Prerequisites​

• Before you start, configure and save the export settings. Exports are defined in the ​Data Management​ > ​Exports ​ area of Engage.

• To analyze the raw data, you need an external tool (for example, a business intelligence, CRM, or data warehouse tool).

Procedure

1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Data Management​ > Exports​.

   ⇒ The ​Exports overview​ window opens.

2. Next to the export you want to generate and upload to the server, click the  symbol.
   ⇒ Engage generates the data and uploads the file to the server address you entered in the export configuration settings.
       Depending on the amount of data, creation of the file may take some time.
