Manually Importing and Searching eCommerce Data

Goal

Upload eCommerce data manually and search for products by SKU.

Background Information

You can manually upload eCommerce data to Mapp and search for products directly in the interface. This is useful when you want to manage product-related data without using an automated integration.

You can perform these actions in the following areas:

Administration > eCommerce > Product Catalog / Triggers / System Transactions / Wishlist / Abandoned Cart / Abandoned Browse / Recommended Products

Procedures

Importing eCommerce Data

1. Go to one of the following tabs:
   Product Catalog, Triggers, System Transactions, Wishlist, Abandoned Cart, Abandoned Browse, or Recommended Products.

2. In the Data tab, click Import Data.
   

3. Click Choose File and select the file you want to import.

4. Define the import settings:

   Setting	Description
   File Type	Select XML or CSV.
   Separator	Enter the separator; a comma is set by default.
   Import Mode	Choose one of the following options: Add Update and Add Replace
   Error Mode	Select one of the available error handling modes: Skip Value Skip Row
   Encoding	Select the encoding from the drop-down list.

5. Click Import.

Searching by Key Prefix

1. Enter the product Key Prefix.

2. Click Search.

The results display:

• The product name

• The product price

• The total number of this product in stock
