12 December 2024 We’re excited to introduce new JavaScript capabilities in Marketing Automation, empowering you to enhance your targeting with dynamic Realtime Behaviors and create highly flexible, custom web content—all with ease.
Key Benefits
Effortless JavaScript Integration for Target Groups: Define dynamic conditions within Realtime Behaviors, a powerful part of Target Groups, using JavaScript to enable smarter, more personalized targeting.
Custom JavaScript for Web Content: Expand your content options with the new Custom JavaScript functionality, complementing existing formats like banners and Custom HTML. This flexibility allows you to build tailored, interactive, and dynamic web experiences that meet your specific needs.
Streamlined Targeting and Content Connection: Combine the power of Mapp Intelligence’s targeting capabilities with fully customizable web content for an engaging and personalized user experience.
How does it work?
Integrating JavaScript in Realtime Behaviours:
Define dynamic conditions for user targeting using JavaScript within Realtime Behaviors.
This enables precise and flexible segmentation based on real-time actions or parameters, providing greater control over audience definitions.
Example: The following example demonstrates how various JavaScript functions can be used to dynamically extract content, including reading the page title from the HTML, checking for specific text within the document title, and retrieving the number of search results displayed on the page.
Adding Custom JavaScript to Web Content:
Deploy Custom JavaScript alongside existing content options, such as banners and Custom HTML, to further enhance your web experiences.
Enable advanced interactive elements, dynamic updates, or real-time personalization to meet the demands of modern marketing.
Important:
While Custom JavaScript itself does not support placement definition directly within the Marketing Automation interface, the JavaScript code can include logic to determine when and where it is displayed. This provides full control over content activation and visibility.
Example Use Case: Use Custom JavaScript to implement dynamic elements, such as interactive product comparisons, live data updates, or personalized call-to-action elements on your website.
